Women are known for wearing many hats! Luckily the AGTA Yarn Artists can create an endless stream of hats and scarves to keep our handcrafted item donation project moving ahead!
Our Story
“I was inspired to start AGTA while watching a video of a 102 year old woman in a nursing home handcrafting hats for those in need. I thought, ‘one day I could be that woman’. Then I realized, why not become her NOW. By the time you are 102, just think how many hats you would have made and given away! Knowing there was a huge need for warm hats and scarves and that there were so many talented crafters who could create these much needed items, I then went looking for organizations that would help distribute our donations. And in no time at all the All Good Things Ahead Handcrafted Item Project was on it’s way. Talented Yarn Artists, Generous Sponsors and Charitable Organizations all teaming up and dedicated to reassuring People that they are not alone and All Good Things ARE Ahead!”
UPDATE: From December 2020 to February 2023 AGTA has donated just at 4000 hats and scarves! We are always looking for more crafters and more small organizations in need!
